Water Pony River Tours invites you to take in the scenic beauty of the Grande Ronde River. The Grande Ronde River winds through a steep timbered canyon and open grassy hillsides of the Wallowa Mountains. It is true gift of nature and provides a memorable experience for the young and young at heart.

Water Pony River Tours is dedicated to providing a relaxing and enjoyable river experience while emphasizing safety, education and respect for the environment. Come along as a passenger in an oar boat or an active participant in a paddle boat.

All you’ll need to bring along is a sleeping bag, ground pad, quick dry shorts, swimsuit, jacket/fleece, rain gear, camp clothes, tennis shoes or river sandals, and camera.

We provide all boating and camp gear, and skilled guides with many years’ experience. Outstanding meals will be provided and prepared in our camp kitchen on the river. Nature provides the rest. Excellent opportunities exist for trout fishing, photography, wildlife viewing and hiking. So come along and join us for some “river time.”
